What is a goblitt?

Post by Maliki »

From the Wicked Cauldron, the stats are given in the module, but no description is given as to what they actually are. (I assume they are related to goblins but their stats are more in line with kobolds). I havn't seen them mentioned elsewhere in TLG products, so just wondering where they came from and what they are exactly.

I just figured they were weak (maybe deformed or stunted) goblins. The kind of goblin that goblins use as their whipping boy!
Maybe this is something that might see light of day in a Monsters & Treasures of Airhde book.

I believe they are intended to be very young or immature goblins (maybe of the Elderich kind).

They are a variant goblin.

Is there a write up for them anywhere?

Yeah, that is a good question. A write-up would be much appreciated!

You saw the write up in the module. That's pretty much it as I understand.

They are called goblitts as a joke. ogre enjoy killing them and their little skulls fit in an ogre hand quite nicely. they have elongated and deep crowns preventing seepage so often found in most goblin/orc skulls (ears holes and eye sockets being so high up on the crown)
