Shattered Horn -- slight spoiler

Post by nwelte1 »

I picked this module up the other day and it fricken rules.... Devilish traps for the unwary. And I liked the time pressured feel. Great module Davis and crew.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Ditto, my players are getting into the "A" series now, so I look forward to the release of the rest of the series.

I haven't had a chance to thumb through it yet but it's sitting on my shelf.

I like The Shattered Horn very much. We got the change to play a little of this at GenCon (care of Davis Chenault), and the ideas behind what is found out in this module... are off the hook!

Good stuff.

Out of the A series, this seems to be the most impressive module. A1 was good, A-2 okay, A-3 I have not fully digested the maps seemed off, A-4 I like but seems hurried, A-5 awesome.

Damn! I guess I'll just have to wait to read it after we kick its ass.

I'm with you on that Tree. It's so tempting to crack open and read.

We will be starting soon depending on where the party decides to head.

Uh, I ain't heading North of Ludensheim until I have exceeded 96,000 XP's. Plus we each have about 20 full heal potions for each of us.

Oh, and I have a Holy Sword. Not "Holy Avenger", just the bane versus evil power.

Judging by that Usurper Baron an AC of 35 or better would be a good idea too.
