Just to let you know

Post by DangerDwarf »

Dangerdwarf's wife, here. Just wanted you all to know he's out of commission for a minute. Pesky little thing called pancreatitis. He's already doing better and should be back online soon.

Ouch! Considering that I almost died of Pancreatitis back in 1993/1994 I am glad to hear he is recovering.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

He's a dwarf. A danger dwarf. He'll be fine. Just give him some beer or vodka or something. But not a shiv.

I am sorry to hear this. My best wishes to him for a well and speedy recovery.

I seconded the vodka regiment. But since he is a dwarf, ale or malt beer might be more to his liking.

Thanks everyone. I'm back home today. Feeling better, just kinda wore out.

Liquid diets suck. Especially when the doc refuses to admit that Beer qualifies as a liquid diet.

Liquid diets suck, but not nearly as much as making the pancreatitis flare back up would, so stick to it!! So no beer! The sugars in them can cause you the pain all over again.

Yeah, I'm sticking to it. The tube up the nose down to the stomach is a process I NEVER want to repeat again.

Been in the hospital with that damn tube since saturday. That tube is my motivation.

So...I'm sitting here chowing down on tomato soup now.

Yum....

Good! Plus don't forget Pancreatitis can and does kill. They had my wife calling my family preparing for the worst when I had it. So don't be foolish, keep doing what your doing. You obvioulsy know why, so I won't bother saying it.

Oh and

ICU Sucks.

Leaving ICU for a friggin' Hospice Unit Sucks Ass.

Hot young flirtatious nurse with a VERY touchy feely bedside manner is pure freakin' AWESOME!

Thas cool. She knows about the nurse too. She thought it was hilarious, prolly because as soon as the nurse found out I was married, the touchy feelies stopped.

Of course there would be the more awesome option of her playing touchy feelie with the wife. But most of us aren't that lucky.
