Aihrdrian Chronicles

Post by jaguar451 »

So, I usually like rules articles over fiction in gaming magazine, but I'm really enjoying Meltowg's adventures in the Aihrdrian Chronicles.

Yep, same here. I also like the little game tie-ins. Keep those coming, whether they are stats for monsters in the story, or information on a hero's magic weapon, etc.... very interesting.

Definitely so. I have to admit at first I was not a big fan of the Aihrde setting in general, until I started reading all of the articles in the Crusader. Now, it seems like every bit released in the Crusader really adds to the rich tapestry of the setting. In fact, I these articles on Aihrde are the best aspect of the Crusader (for me at least).

Thanks for the kind words folks. Its really the most enjoyable stuff to write. Issue 17 reveals the origins of the Hlobane and the depths of Unklar's treachery.

Now, if I could somehow turn the last pieces of the CKG into a setting piece!

Steve,

Any chance of a novel length version of this? Or even an anthology?

Actually yes, I've scripted this story out to some length. Its one of my favorite Legends of Aihrde, how Meltowg quests for the Castles of Spires and confronts the elves.

We are hoping to have the first one out in 2010. Again the CKG willing.
