Casey Christofferson and the Miniature Battle Rules

Alrighteo, we are going to debut Casey Christofferson's miniature battle rules for Castles & Crusades at Troll Con this year. I'm not sure which scenario we are going to do, but I'm going to push him to run the battle of Felsentheim.

We are trying to arrange it so that Davis runs a marathon CK session of Vakhund-Dzeebagd-Felsentheim and have Casey wrap the whole up using the miniature battle rules.

With luck, we'll have the not announced but soon announced siege gear from Fat Dragon Games.

If you haven't been CKed by Davis that is an experience in and of itself. If you haven't gamed with Casey at the helm that too is an experience in and of itself!

It'll be alot of fun!

Case's mass combat rules are a real treat to play. We had a total blast using these rules at Gen Con 07. I am ALL IN for using these rules again!

Talked with Steve today. The plan is for folks who show for the friday saturday to get a real treat in a ever escalating game starting with a regular RP scenario that finishes off with the great grandmother of all battles on Saturday!

Should be great fun and I'm really looking forward to running this! Make plans to attend and be a part of TLG's living history.

I have heard of these rules, but not yet seen them. I look forward to it, as I would like to run an actual siege -- even considering pulling out the minis to do it.

Sounds great. I would love to see a miniature game that is skirmish level. And by the looks of it from the pics above, skirmish level is the rules. Very coolio.
