So that's what you guys have been talking about.

Here I thought some soldiers were coming back from Iraq or something.

Now if my wife asks, "Will there be people dressed in costumes there?" I'll have to answer "yes."

James M. Ward here,

I have the pleasure to be one of the many great guests at Troll Con. Steve and I were going over what I might do. Since I have turned over the player's book and the Adventure book for the Tainted Lands I thought I might run that adventure a couple of times at the convention. I will certainly be there to answer any questions about writing for CRUSADER, we can always use good writers. I'd like to have some time to run some METAMORPHOSIS ALPHA. What else I do will be up to the Troll Lord boys.

Been a long time since I played any M.A. I had a great time with the original. That's a game I would love to see run by the original author, so I hope that you do actually run it at the convention.

Mike,

Yes i did. But whenever i tried to send a reply back it keep getting bounced? Anyway, yes if you are looking at running a few events, just fill out the event registration form ( http://www.filefactory.com/file/agab1d0 ... ration_doc ) and get it back to me and i'll be happy to add it to the schedule.

Thanks,

Richard

Metamorphosis Alpha? That would be great. I didn't start roleplaying until 1982(?), so I missed out on that 1976(?)classic. I was more in the early 80's AD&D, basic, Star Frontiers, and Gamma World 2nd camp at the time. If there's some sort of off-schedule MA game, count me in. Although, I have promised to run one or two off-sched Savage Worlds games, so I'll see what I can do. I'm hoping an MA session, or at least Tainted Lands, is in my Troll Con future.

I wouldnt hold you to a SW game during his MA game, since I would like to participate in both if possible

Well, BD. I'm sure we can all have a meeting of the minds(at TC) to make sure we don't step all over each other's toes. We'll just put my game somewhere in the 3am timeslot. It's a con(and I'm in my late 30's)...who needs sleep?? Yeah right. I'm about the equivalent of somebody in at least their mid-50's when it comes to falling asleep.

I'm looking forward to running two Tainted Lands games in the mornings. If I run an MA game in the afternoon, plan on an unusual amount of character passings.

Also, thanks for all the nice remarks about MA, it's greatly appreciated.

Ive played in Steve Chenault's games. "an unusual amount of character passings" is standard operating procedure.

Character passings, eh? I've heard rumors about these sessions. This doesn't bode well. That said, if we die early, we can still squeeze in that Savage Worlds session. hehe

Ya, the dragon's tend to pass em...later on. That's reincarnation in a troll world.
