Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I downloaded a copy of this just to let them know that their voice was heard loud and clear. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet and wonder if it is as good as their WoD products used to be.

I got it. I'm not a big WW fan normally, but I'm at least going to check it out. Good move on White Wolf's part, and I hope it yields them some notice.

Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths

I downloaded the original edition of Exalted a few years ago from RPGNow/DrivethruRPG as a free product. Well...let's just say I now have both editions.

holy cow!

SWEET!

Never played exalted, but I used to dig Werewolf a LOT. Friends of mine played Vampire also, but somehow I never got around to playing Vampire. The other ones didn't catch my fancy, but I LOVED werewolf.

So my point, and I do have one, is that I look forward to reading this. Thanks for the heads up!

I know there are a fair number of Exalted fans over on RPGnet. IT definitely sounded like it could be a lot of fun, and to be able to check it out legally and for free? Win all the way!

I bought Exalted awhile back. Looks cool but to hell with those rules. There's an Exalted 101 Primer out there you can download to help you understand it. Kinda crunchy.

I had looked at Exalted once, and decided I would not play it. Sometimes, once can have too much.

If ever there was a system overburdened by crunch and video gamey in feel. Exalted is most definitely it.

I like some of the concepts but the rules make me twitch.

Scion makes use of similar rules, but simplifies them to a degree. Even with the simplification I think Scion is still a little to crunchy as well.

You could always play Tunnels & Trolls.

Quote:
As a sincere "thank you" to all the wonderful customers who make the excellent choice to support their favorite publishers with their purchases of PDFs and digital download product, this title is discounted as part of our Celebration of PDFs!

That was about as subtle as a warhammer to the side of the head. (LOL)

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when publishers go blatantly overboard in the kissing of our asses?

I agree but...

TLG always does a great job of showing their appreciation without going all "Man Love" on us.

This past week all the "Customer Appreciation" deals these other companies are doing drip of insincerity to the point of making me nauseous.

They really need to turn it down some.

Have a physical copy of that one, though it's in real bad shape (having been rebound). It has its charms simply because it's the one role playing game I know of where nobody dies.
