Heck, even 3E and 4E junkies should find these useful:

Their newest release is the Herb shop, and I like it, a lot! I've enjoyed the whole series too. If you have any specific questions just ask and I'll look for the answer.

It has to be an answer in the PDF, I know Patrick, and even met him at GenCon 2006, but I had nothing to do with making these PDF's.

Edit: I have only been buying the City Street PDF's, I haven't bought the others, and I will only vouch for them in that the quality should be similar to the City Streets material.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hey Treebore, those look neat. Why do I know the author's name, Patrick Lawinger? I should be able to place him, but I can't recall why I know him.

Patrick is one of the Necromancer Games dudes, or was. Dunno if he still is?

I remember looking at those a while back, Tree, and the ones that I previewed all had the same problem (witht he preview): I couldn't see crap. The first 5-1/2 pages are describing the system they use for different things (spellcasting ability and trap deadliness) and at the end you get two paragraphs of fluff. I was never able to tell if they'd be worth it or not.

The Glassworks one should be a complete free download, and is representative of the rest of the series.

Yes, Patrick is a Necromancer dude, edited many of their modules and wrote one of my more favorite ones, Morrick Mansion. As far as I know he will still be involved with them once they start their product line back up, which may already be underway.

I didn't notice that the Glassworks was free! I must have passed right over it. Thanks for the heads up and I'll go check it out.

I just got reminded last night he also co authored CSIO with Bob SR nad contributed as well as edited on the Wilderlands boxed set.

Which shows me why I like his City Streets line.

System Free. He uses a "generic" kind of system that is fully explained in the free Gior's Glassworks (and in every product), its really basic and definitely lends itself easily to C&C, OD&D, 1E and 2E. 3E and 4E people would have to greatly expand and fill in the write ups, so for fans of those systems the product would only be good for maps, ideas, and character background kind of descriptions.
