Hey everyone, and tk9612 loved the hair at All-Con I must say,
I've been at work on my Space Marine armor although it's been made using foam and paper using pepakura, hopefully I'll be able to unveil it this year for it's first but not it's last convention. I've been hard at work on my costume for this year even though I've only spent about 20 bucks on building it so far and I'm almost finished on it just have to do the legs and boots, part of the planning and research that went into it was thanks to some of the people at the Bolter and Chainsword forums. But if anyone is curious as to what type of Marine I'll be doing well I have it planned and have finished most of the painting of doing a Black Templar, this year Marine next year plan to do a Terminator from the Warhammer games, just so that nobody gets confused with the Terminator movies. Well I'll see you all there and who knows maybe next year I can drag a few of my other Space Marine buddies and thier armor down for the con, nothing like having some guys in big suits of costume armor run around acting crazy. If anybody is intrested in building a Space Marine themselves I have added all my files to the Pepakura Gallery to build your own Marine enjoy

Yes I have a few parts left to do like the legs and boots is all I need then it'll be done, the whole outfit is made from foam and paper including the weapons. Also not much of a trek I just live about 50 miles NW of Little Rock in Morriliton, I think I'm about the only Marine in the US I'm not sure,
Also on a subnote if you guys at Troll Con would ever like to have Mike Curtis from Shandrafa Books (god I hope I spelled that right) I'm sure I can get him for you guys.

Ohhh that is really cool. We'll have to have a few games of Dark Heresy to celebrate.

Ok part of the armor is foam sheets that I cut into the desired way I wanted for some of the parts, but for the helmet, shoulders and a few other parts have all been done in Pepakura, if anybody here is intrested I have uploaded the Space Marine files to the Pepakura Gallery which is free to download the files, I have all the armor files there and a few of the guns I'll be uploading the Space Marine Rocket Launcher soon for people as well and if anyone wants when I come to TC I'll try to bring templates I used for the foam parts and let you guys have a copy of the templates, there can never be too many Marines out there, the more the merrier and right now I'm about the only one besides a friend of mine and I'm eccentric as it is.
