Obsidian Portal?

Post by zacharythefirst »

Anyone here using Obsidian Portal for making their campaign websites? I saw a few other on there using C&C, but didn't know if it was anyone on the board, or if anyone else here was using it so I could add you on my list.

Mine is still under construction (so don't judge it too harshly), but I'll be using it for my next C&C campaign, if all goes according to plan:

No, I don't particularly desire to share my world with those who do not play in it.

Eh, some do, some don't. I don't mind having it out there, but since I tend to run multiple games (1 pbem, 1 IRL), it's nice to have one place for all the material. And it'll be good to get everything organizing in wiki form.
If only Keith Baker felt the same way you do, though....

I certainly see the appeal, but it would be one more thing for me to do online.. and I need to find things to get me away from the computer. So, I think its neat, and would probably browse through and steal, err, umm, "get inspired" by some stuff I saw, but I wouldn't post my own. Damn hypocrisy!

Are you going to reboot on your HH campaign, or just go ahead with your Conan one?

Added to faves...

The Conan one is a simple 1-on-1 gaming my wife and I are doing to try out the Conan system.

As for the HH game, right now two of my players (husband and wife) just had a baby the other week and the aftermath of the TPK is on hiatus until they come back to gaming from their maternity leave. There's some talk already though about going AD&D for a bit when they return. So, we'll see.

Sounds interesting but my campaign is just us homefolk so I don't need anything like that and the only real web sharing I do of it is on my blog.

Weird.. my post has no info... here is what I said...

I looked into Obsidian Portal a while back, but I prefer EpicWords.com. Epic Words has some nice features, like an XP tracker, an Loot list, etc.... Here is my Epic Words Rappan Athuk site....
