The Fourth Crusade Begins (TLG PR)

LITTLE ROCK, AR {May 01, 2009} Troll Lord Games marked the advent of a Fourth Crusade with the release of the 3rd printing of the Castles & Crusades Monsters & Treasure. This book is one of the core books for the C&C role playing game. It marks the beginning of a new trade dress for Castles & Crusades and is the first of 4 hardback core rule books for Castles & Crusades schedule for release over the coming months. Monsters & Treasure is 128 pages, hardback and retails for $19.99. It is available now.

The Fourth Crusade derives its name from the 4th printing of the Players Handbook and the 4 core books coming for C&C this summer. Each book brings fresh new material to the C&C game. This is a landmark for Troll Lord Games. Since its debut in 2005, Castles & Crusades has been on auto-pilot, remarked Davis Chenault of TLG. We put out loads of adventures, but nothing really to expand the game. Weve been working hard on the CKG and are very excited about Gods & Monsters. These books add a wealth of material for the C&C gamer to tap into.

On the schedule for Summer 2009 are four hardback books: the Monsters & Treasure, 3rd printing, Players Handbook, 4th printing, Of Gods & Monsters, and the Castle Keepers Guide. The new version of the Monsters & Treasure contains new art and minor corrections from the previous printing. The Players Handbook contains a revised barbarian class and over 40 new illusionist spells. Of Gods & Monsters, by James M. Ward, presents a host of pantheons, the deities within them, new magic items, spells and monsters. The Castle Keepers Guide is the final book scheduled for release this summer containing hosts of information on playing C&C.

The Fourth Crusade begins today with the release of Monsters & Treasure. Join the fray and join the fun!

Does this mean I can finally expect a package of TLG goodness to show up at my door?

Very good news.

It is my intent to have the CKG at Gencon! We are working earnestly to that end.

Ninja's.
The Pirates will have already raided the shipping truck by the time you 'ninja's' have made it to Gen-Con.

How will they even get there, with their silly lack of depth-perception and hobbled wooden-leg walk...?

The route between Arkansas and Gen-Con is utterly devoid of coastal driving. If the trucks get hijacked, it's a guarantee that pirates weren't responsible.

Ahh you see only our cover pirates. First I distract the trolls with:

And it's all over.

River pirates. Ground based bandit pirates. We have diversified in the past 300 years.

Steve

Ya know, you have to drive right through my town on the way there.

I've got one State Trooper and one County Deputy on my boy's little league baseball team...

Hmmn.
