The only guy I saw say anything positive about it has a game post about running it, and its very long. They had fun with it. The only reason I have been tempted is I am a sucker for maps.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

This stretch of the thread is off Whiterock and talking about World's Largest Dungeon right?

Hehe. I've just heard that it's pretty unremarkable for it's scale. And I heard there wasn't a lot of editing done (typos and such).

Yeah, some megadungeons are worth it, and some I dunno. Then there are others that I just don't know enough about (the current topic of discussion would fall into this category ).

I liked the Castle Greyhawk megadungeon that everybody hated. The satire one... I guess the cover art wasnt obvious enough to people who were expecting serious gaming.

If you like Castle Greyhawk, then you have to check out Under the Storm Giant's Castle released by Judges Guild. Many people forget that old school D&D also involved a whole lot of jokes.

I finally got a copy for $30.00 (plus shipping). If anyone else is still in the hunt for one, hit this seller up with a $30 offer.

Sounds like a good deal. I love some megadungeons, but I don't know if I'd ever run it. For $30, it'd be worth buying, at least.

That's what I thought...WTH for $30. I've got a pile of stuff to go through before I get it opened and read but it'll be there when I'm ready I suppose.
