*wry grin* I just accept reality. And don't take myself, the hobby, or much of anything seriously.

Eh, that is why we are somewhat of kindred spirits. I've been known to splash the cold water of reality on things when everyone else is shoving rainbows up their ass (See the recent "I want to open a game store" thread.) And god knows I am one of the most irresponsible and sometimes confused person who puts, "having fun" above many other sensible priorities. But, how you live your life doesn't constrain you from seeing the realities of the world.

Wasn't a shot at you. If that is what you thought. Though if you'd like I could go into Troll mode.

I just like to debate is all.

But when I debate here they close the thread and wipe out my posts.

*chuckles* No worries mate. Years of enduring lots of web board absurdity have clearly highlighted the difference between trolling and people simply expressing a difference of view with me.

I think

Sweet.

I'll be sure to spend my profits on them as long as its practical do do so in the furtherance of my hobby.

Even if we didn't bring chickens.

Yeah, I had a blast at the con (in addition to the game we both played in, I was in Rob Kuntz's Fri night El Raja Key game and Allan Grohe's Sat morning Castle Greyhawk game). I'll definitely be going again, next year. (Who knows, I might even run a game -- although with all the big names running games I don't know if there would be enough interest.)

I will definitely attend as well, and had a lot of fun Jon's Sunday games were not very full from a registration POV (he had ~4 registered in one of the slots but 2 were no-shows IIRC), but he still ended up a full table of 9 once the walk-ons were added in!

I'd sign up for that! Especially if Jon and I could play _together_: still hasn't happened yet

Indeed, I would gladly play in Philotomy's game if the opportunity presented itself!

Excellent to hear! We have a number of possible projects we're looking at doing that are non-licensed (that is, non-DCC adventures), none of which are far enough along in the process to talk about publically. But, suffice it to say that really good things are on the horizon!

As will I. I was just giving my personal preference before - I'd love to see them released as C&C rather than AD&D (referring to the DCC's). That being said, I think you guys will be able to do an excellent job at converting these and I'll snap up as many as I can get a hold of. Many of them will be new to me, as I never picked up many DCC modules (I have, maybe 8 or so), so I think it'll be an intersting experience.

Is that what you were doing?? Damn, totally missed that.

It's good you were being nice with the cold waters of reality...the shrinkage is a pain in the ass.
