Strange Find

Post by DangerDwarf »

I've been picking up spare copies of some AD&D books lately (I like having 1 shelved and one for actual play). I got in a copy of the orange spined AD&D Monster Manual today and found a odd thing written on the inside cover:

To bad there's no way knowing if that is legit or not but I think it's kinda cool that its a book that might have been used by one of their sculptors.

No reason it couldn't be? Swag trade is pretty common among the various companies.

Would be neat to compare it to known Ral Partha signatures, if any, for comparative purposes. Stuff like that is neat.

Yeah, one of the reason I like picking up used books is the little stuff like that. Also got in a copy of the FR Grey Box that had some Star Trek maps and Character Sheets in it. Nothing really all that useful, but kinda cool to get little surprises like that to look at.

DD---

You might ping Tim Kask to see if he recognizes the writing; I found out this past weekend that he was pretty tight with the RP folks.

Cool find, hoss. I once found a ToEE map booklet in a Kara-Tur box set...which was nice since I had an extra ToEE without a map booklet.
