What are Broadsides?

The definition of the word "broadsides" or what SS:BS is supposed to be?

I'm also curious what the broadsides are... I'm looking through my box wondering if I'm missing something. I have the OM, 4 FM, 2442, and the character sheet (planet and craft sheet too) and dice.

At the bottom of the box there should have been four slightly glossy cardstocks for Planet Template, Craft Creation sheet, Fashioning Trappings Cheat Sheet & Character sheet.... these are the broadsides I believe.

Thats what I thought too, but the list next to the Broadsides description on the back of the box: "Character and Monster generation, planet creation and more...;" lead me to believe that there is something else. It lists character sheets separate from the Broadsides character generation... and there is nothing separate for Monster generation. So is there something separate to help with character and monster gen?

The Broadsides are the card stock inserts. They include the Character Sheet, Vehicle Sheet, Planetary System Sheet, Rules Cheat Sheet, and Item/Vehicle/Alien Creation Sheet.

Thanks. If there are supposed to be 5 sheets, than I am missing one. I don't have the item/vehicle/alien creation sheet... Which sounds really helpful. Crap. I assume that the Trapping creation sheet on your website is the same? Just printing that would save me a call to TLG.
