Troll Con VIII

Planning has begun for Troll Con VIII!

We are going to be a little more selective with the dates and attempt to set it on a weekend that there is NOT a convention going on in eastern Oklahoma...no easy task. But we are looking at mid June to mid July. We will settle on these dates very very soon.

Also, we are looking for a bigger hall. We doubled, if not tripled last years attendance and expect next year to do even more. So though we may stay in the Hampton, if we do we'll rent both halls for more gaming goodness.

Also, in other news, Davis had so much fun running his Inzae game that he's determined to run another complete with miniatures and setting material. I will shift from my normal Troll Lord adventure and run the first tourney adventure for TC taking place in the Darkenfold.

Pre-registration opens this week.

I'm interested in hearing a date, too. I plan to go to Origins, but I may be able to swing Troll Con, as well--depending on when it is.

Hey all,

Just wanted to drop everyone a line and let you know that we have the Date and Location set for Troll Con VIII.

After much searching in the Little Rock area, we have decided to return to the Hampton Inn in West Little Rock for Troll Con VIII. This year however, we have booked both Conference rooms at the Hampton to allow us to expand and take on more vendors and attendees. Staying at the Hampton will also allow us to help keep the entry price for the Convention low for our attendees. We will be setting up a block of rooms at the Hotel to book in the coming weeks. I will post here when they are setup for booking.

The date for Troll Con VIII is June 25-27th 2010 at the Hampton Inn in West Little Rock. We hope to see everyone there. If you have any questions, feel free to post here or PM me.

Oh, no!!!!! I was hoping the Trolls would be at Origins. Troll Con is smack dab in the middle of it, and I've already made my Origins plans, so Troll Con is out for me.

Its been a number of years since TLG was last at Origins. I think it was a budget issue?

Don't make room reservations yet, or at least not ones you can't cancel, a better location may have been found for July 23rd, or there abouts. Keep up to date on facebook, twitter, where ever it is Steve has been posting the info.

I pre-registered. Is there anyone in the KC area who wants to car pool? I drive a Lincoln Town Car, so there's plenty of room.

Well, 5 "donations" to "Troll Con VII" have been made for Troll Con VIII!

Should have rooms reserved by next Tuesday. I'll let people know what prices I manage, which are usually lower than the convention rates.

Hmmm....glad to see it's not the Origins dates now. I might be able to make this. Just pre-registered, just in case.

Tree, I'm interested in hearing about that. Also, seems like I read on their website that they require a full deposit for the room. Is that correct?
