A man after my own heart. No I haven't, but have always wanted to. When d20 finally came around to producing it's own Lone Wolf RPG, I went with that one. Lone Wolf d20 is not v3.5 D&D using the Lone Wolf setting, it's much better then that. But, because I like C&C so much I never fully got the opportunity to explore d20 Lone Wolf. Would love to with C&C some day.

Omote,
I have done some character class conversion. Next to TLG, I like Mongoose Pub for Dragon Warriors and Lone Wolf. The Lone wolf D20 by Mongoose was interesting and good source information, but to way to complicated.
Take the Kai Lord for instance, First use the disciplines in the book as is and see how many of them match to C&C abilities. You could then look at C&C mechanics that work for other things, for instance in M&T they have magic item creation rules and the Assassin's poison skill could be used for Alchemy or Herbalism.

True enough Lobo. However, because the Kai Lord abilities increase rather dramatically I think this makes it a very strong class for the C&C game. Pretty much everything else would have to scale along with the Kai. Though writing up the monsters would be quite fun. GIAKS!

Lone Wolf (LW)
Omote,
A Kai Lord is meant to be powerful, but when you assess the Kai Lord compared to other fighting classes, what you find is it is more versatile, but it is not a more powerful front line fighter. I have sent you a PM to try to get an email address that I can send you a rough comparison of classes. I will admit though that there will need to be slight adjustments to the existing classes to balance against the Kai Lord. I would like to share with you a few of points.
1. LW PC classes that I will allow are as follows: (1) Herbalish Druid, (2) Sage of Lyris, (3) Magician of Dessi, (4) Vakeros Knight, (5) Kai Lord, (6) Brother of the Crystal Star, (7) Telos Amazon, (8) Dwarven Gunner of Bor, (9) Shadaki Buccaneer, (10) Sommerlund Knight, (11) Borderland Ranger.
2. Take the Sommerlund Knight for instance, which the C&C Knight provides a good representation of. With the introduction of the Kai Lord class, however, I will need to beef it up slightly. Since Fighter is not on my list of PC classes; the weapon specialization ability can be used by other classes. The Sommerlund Knight would get weapon specialization for a melee weapon, which would make the Knight the best melee fighter. As a second example take the Borderland Ranger. Use the C&C Ranger and add weapon specialization for Bows only and this would make the Ranger the best Archer.
3. I have noticed that each of the PC classes will require two designated primes to get the correct LW flavor.

Thread Ressurection!
Joe Dever and company released a new map of the Lone Wolf setting, Magnamund. I just wanted to post a few pics of this map to show off it's awsomeness... These pics just don't do the full map justice.

Well, this is very cool. I just picked up the first book, I'll play it as written and then maybe try it with C&C.

Re: C&C Lone Wolf
I while ago, there was the chap who started this thread who was doing some serious conversion work for C&C Lone Wolf. He was really on to something. I hope that he comes back and comments on this thread.

Re: C&C Lone Wolf
I would love to see a conversion. The multiplayer game book with the single combat attribute that mongoose does right now don't really do it for me. That system works in context of a solo gamebook adventure but doesn't click in my brain for more than one person. I vastly prefer the old D20 books. I have a player who keeps asking me to run Lone Wolf again after one short lived campaign, running it with C&C would be a perfect world for me. I might take a stab at converting everything from the D20 editions at some point.
Re: C&C Lone Wolf
I gave the 8-year old the first book not long ago.
She grabbed her d10 and a sheet of paper...
Not sure how far she got though.
I'd be interested to see what a C&C conversion looked like.
For those not familiar, I think most (if not all) of the books are free -legally- from here:

DLing it all right now.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
