Ottawa Game Summit 2009 - Aug 29-30

I'm not sure I posted this before. I'm in no way involved with this organized gaming convention, but I am planning on attending. Hopefully Moriarty as well and a few of my other friends.

So are there any Ottawa C&C people here who would be interested in attending? I'm currently trying to decide between going for just 1 day vs 2 days. I'll be going to the mini painting sessions, looking at some of the warhammer stuff (my most recent curiosity) and hopefully taking part in some board game tournaments and such. If there were interested parties, I would even bring along my C&C stuff for a quick pick up game or to take part in anyone else's game.

So... anyone?

Thanks for this Jynx. It is a little short notice but I'm interested. I live in Ottawa so should be easy to get there.

I checked the website out but I'm having trouble finding the cost for extra tokens. Do you know the price of those?

I have no problem offering couch and floor space, and gaming here.

I wish I could get out to that Con. I haven't been to any events since 2007 and am going through a bit of withdrawal . . . The big problem is that I'm now in exile in the wastes of Northwestern Ontario and there is sweet F.A. as far as game events are concerned.

Let me know how the painting events go though. I'm always interested to see how other folks are running their demos.
