Thinking of Buying Some Back Issue PDFs

Post by AslanC »

If you had to recommend me one issue to get as the best example of it's use and style etc... what issue would that be?

I had heard earlier issues didn't have as much C&C info in them, etc...

So let's here it lads and ladies, the best issue to buy as a primer is?

If you aren't in a big hurry, you may want to hold out for this:

However, I think the mag really started turning around issue 7 or 8. I'll take a look later tonight and pick my top four favorites.

Thanks.

That best of looks good too, but I would still like to grab an issue or two to see what's what and if I want to spend money on this every month or not

My personal suggestions are to grab #15 (which has an excellent adventure by some guy from WI.....) but I know Jim felt was one of the best, but to get a real sense of how it's progressed get the newest - #20, which I think is the best so far in breadth of material in it.... and I think will give you a sense of where it's going as a magazine.

My 2 cents.

#15 and #20 are definitely primo. #15 was my all-time fav until #20 and now I just dont know which issue is better. And why decide, you know?

#10 has the StarSIEGE conversion article

#13 was pretty good, too. Nice preview articles of other C&C books

and #18 should get honorable mention when talking about great past issues.

I would get the sub because the issues have been getting better and better lately.
