I've read through the manuals repeatedly, and I know I'm probably missing the obvious.
Would someone clarify for me how a character takes damage in SS?
I'm seeing fixed damage on weapons, which is cool, and fixed values for armor (damage reduction?) which is also cool.
For instance, with a close combat weapon, would it basically be Wpn Damage + PHYS - Armor value = Wounds?
Thanks for any info.

How does damage work?
If the strike hits, its weapon damage - armor value of the target's armor (which does 1 point of durability damage to the armor itself) = wounds.
Physique would only be added to the attack roll, and not increase damage, unless the SE ruled that an unarmed attack also applied.
Physique gives extra wounds only by contributing to the creature's base unarmed damage. Base unarmed damage is determined by (Size + Physique )/6, rounded down.
