Close, that was actually this guy. That made into into Popular Science.

Both of these applications use the ioBridge, this neat gadget the the Steampunk Pumpkin fella helped create. It let's folks easily control just about anything via the Web. Ha, he even had his toaster tweeting via the ioBridge.
