More Swag for CafePress

Post by Piperdog »

I have a humble request, and maybe more of you out there are with me on this.

I would love to see more troll lord games merchandise on Cafepress. I would like to see multiple logos and artwork available on shirts, mugs, and whatnot.

For example, I would like to see Castles and Crusades Society items, with the new logo on it. That would rock. (especially for Cons).

For shirts, I like the current TLG logos on the shirts, but don't want the demon pic on it, though its a cool pic and all.

I would also dig getting the artwork from various books on a mug or tshirt too. And of course, a TLG Thong would be pretty cool too.

While I don't look good in thongs, and thus will have to pass. I somewhat agree with more TLG swag, though CafeExpress is very expensive for no good reason.

It doesn't matter if you don't look good in a thong (which one of us does?).

It matters that you are representin'!!

From what I have gathered, it is simply not worth the effort required to go through this particular vendor because 1) the sale point is ridiculous (that is, they have to sell way too many before a company gets any return on investment) and 2) the cost is ridiculous making it not worth it, at all. But, that is from my own investigation into the possible routes to get some ACE junk...errr, swag... out there.

I'd love some more choices for t-shirts and such with the C&C logo on them. I like to wear those items at home games and for conventions. It helps me set the mood at my table.

Actually, I'm wearing an Order of the Stick shirt right now!

I agree that the prices are crazy high on these sites, but they are essentially product produced on demand, one at a time as ordered, so it's understandable. The only way around that would be go to traditional product vendors who customized their items and order in bulk, paying zillions up front, store it in a warehouse, take the orders, fill the orders, ship them out, hoping to move enough product to break even and so on....soooooo, I see why many small business just use these services instead.
