Has anyone thought about locating Yggsburgh in the Wilderlands? I am considering having it be in the Elphand Lands, kind of a outpost of civilization that developed as a result of the magical help of a certain mad wizard. Maybe located in place of the village of Taunting (at the fork of a river) or I was also thinking of having it replace Damkina...
Any other ideas?

Yeah, that could work.
I decided to put it in the Elphand Lands, to the west of Damkina. It is far enough away from other major cities that it won't interfere with their history too much. Plus, it is near mountains, and I am running the group through G1-3 now.
Heh, I have the Wilderlands east/northeast of Blacktooth Ridge, And Yggsburgh is about west/northwest of BtR/Botkinburg.
But yes, I think Yggsburgh would very much fit into many areas of the Wilderlands depending on what the DM has in mind for his campaign.
