which is apparently a Mediaeval 'Magnificent Seven' (the horror) being filmed just up the road from me... a King John does the barons after Magna Carta travesty, or something. There's a clip showing the filming of a castle being stormed, which is quite amusing, all 'Cut, reset, B camera - Action', as the extras wallop each other with battle axes.

Enjoy

Sounds cool. Magnificent Seven was a good movie, even though it was just a Western version of Yojimbo. Last Man Standing was a pretty good movie and it was just the mobster movie version.

No, Mag 7 was based on the Japanese movie by Kurosawa ~ "Shichinin no samurai"!

Seems like an excellent project and the possibility of a great film. I wish success for the studio and movie!!

could be fun.

but the magna carta and freedom for the nation bit is making me a bit nauseated ... Will it be another Braveheart, in which American national myths about freedom for all are transplanted into the MIddle Ages? I hope not!
