TNI: Masque of the Red Death (gothic horror)

I'm up. Still have to finish my maps to get to Andre. I guess if they're not done in time, all fight will default to a bridge overlooking a waterfall. That always works out for Victorian detectives, right?

In honor of the season I want to suggest a new mechanic for the game. Every failed fear, horror or madness check (don't think I've forgotten about those) you should take a shot to represent your character's loosening grip on reality. Happy New Years!

Also, I'm dropping count-up tonight. Seeing as combat is likely to continue to be comprised of scrambling for safety and trading volleys, I think standard rounds will meet our needs.

Well Im headed off to the in laws in about half an hour, Ill put the server up with the old campaign file for now, I should be home with plenty of time to restart the server with the new file though.

Ill try to let you guys know if I'm going to be late or not.

Good, I'm glad you're joining us tonight, JM. All your character knows is that a friend of a friend of a former boss has called you in for some sort of security job at the train station in the morning. You'll meet up with everyone in the second scene tonight.

This is what I did in my Dead Mule pt 2 (Cthulhu Boogaloo). In one memorable shootout with a Nagual (Aztec shapeshifter) in a Victorian Sanitarium, the players ended up fleeing into the night, one of them babbling and one screaming uncontrollably.

Unfortunatly there has been a change of plans for me. We got invited last minute to a new years party, and the wife 'convinced' me I wanted to go. So unless there is a last minute change I don't think ill make the game tonight. The server is up with the old campaign file

TNI 2 I think, usual passwords

I'm not sure if we will even be stopping at home between here and the party so I don't know if Ill be able to reload the server with the new file if there is one.

Um, I think it will be best to do this next week. My kids stayed home instead of going over to a friends, so now we have "family plans" for tonight after all.

So is this still happening with Der Golem being a geek and signing up for college classes?

If its going to interfere with Tuesdays it usually means it will also interfere with Thursdays.

Oh no, I would never desert my own campaign! I would only think of doing something as heinous if you were CK.

Id definitely be down for car wars, though Ive never played. so rules explanations would be needed. this is of course assuming you have it ready to run

yes I do have one map ready for Doom The Boardgame on maptool, although Its not 100% complete (not everything has macros, but we can roll the dice manually I guess )
