The World of Aeran Reborn!

Post by AslanC »

So after working and tweaking and redesigning, the final look of the World of Aeran is here!

This is a small teaser image of the map, as the full size one is 64 inches wide and almost 300meg and counting as the labeling gets done
This was a collaborative effort between myself, coyotemax and HistoryHead.

Feedback welcomes

Thanks

Though I have no idea how I will be able to put it online at that size.

Maybe in the New Year I will be able to afford webspace again

Sort of looks like a large fish eating a small fish if you squint at it.

Im fun with inkblot tests as well.

You know, part of the utility of maps is that they can be so much smaller than the world itself.

I think I asked him that before, Lurker, and I can't remember the answer.

Aslan, did you say a friend helped you with it?

My question is...would you do someone else's map (as a type of commission)?

The basics are done by me in Photoshop.

They I hand it off with guidlines, rivers, where I want to the mountains, etc, to my creative partner-in-crime, coyotemax.

From there I think he does some voodoo and then this is the final result
As for comissions, contact me privately about that please.
