Stonehell for Labyrinth Lord would be great. A little tweaking and a Mad Arch-Mage could be behind it all instead of the other thing the book presents. I plan on running parts of Stonehell for additions to Castle Whiterock for 3.5e.

I run Whiterock in C&C and when I use Stonehell, it will be in C&C.

What about using the world's largest dungeon? You can get it on pdf another option is th Castle of th Mad Arch Mage. Its a free download you can find on the Greyhawk Grognard Blog

The ones suggested sound pretty good to me. Although, I haven't heard too many good things about World Largest Dungeon. You could always redo it if you wanted.

But Stonehell Dungeon and Mad Arch-Mage are good ones to start with - plenty of material to keep you going for a good, long time.

I'll add my support for Castle of the Mad Archmage (http://greyhawkgrognard.blogspot.com/), Level 7 should be coming out pretty soon. I'm using it in conjunction with the CZ2 boxed set in my Yggsburgh campaign, although the players have been too scared to head to the Castle yet; they're waiting until they're a bit higher in level.

Edit: Just saw in your other thread that you need a Level 1 of the dungeons as well. Since the Castle of the Mad Archmage starts off at Level 2, you can use the Castle of the Mad Demi-God (http://oldschooldungeonsdragons.blogspot.com/) as Level One. The CotMDG is designed to match up with the CotMA, both of which match up well with CZ2. Good luck!!!

I am in the Castle of the Mad Archmage camp myself. I am using it along with Castle Zagyg, and Bowbe's Haunted Highland modules thrown in as well. All placed in the World of Greyhawk of course.

LOL- I'm getting ready to run CotMA next week for a marathon holiday game when some old gaming buddies are in town. I've read through most of it and am really impressed with it.

Castle of the Mad Archmage pretty much is Castle Greyhawk.

BTW, I have drawn up plans to have a Zagig Yragerne miniature made. It would of course be unofficial and named "The Mad Archmage" or something like it. I might be able to have it first quarter of next year, even.

thank you all for your your posts I am DL the 2 moduels you suggested.... I have a feeling thatI will be piecing together a dungeon from several sources tied together by a story forged by the players.

The Eastmark Portfolio is really good material and Iam looking forward to running this game.

Thank you for your aid

Is there Anywhere out side of buying the box set I could get my hands on the map of the castle itself fromthe C&C box set?

It was never made available anywhere else.

At the risk of tooting my own horn, I would like to announce that the latest version of Castle of the Mad Archmage is now available as a free download on my "Greyhawk Grognard" blog. It includes Level 7: THE CRYPTS.

Enjoy!

Agreed! I downloaded it last night, but haven't really read through the new level yet. I can't wait to have some victims... er, players start exploring the Mad Archmage's dungeons.

Here is the description I was going to work from for Zagig: He is a twisted looking man both short and heavy set. His face is awash in madness and glee. His hair is an uncombed mess. He wears a cloak over his wizard's robe and he has bracers, rings, and a necklace, all magic items on. He holds a mighty sword in his right hand, he has its point resting in the ground at his feet. In his left hand he holds a magic wand just above waist level.

@Wulfgarn: If you want to work up a pen and ink concept drawing for Zagig we could critique it here on the forum and work out a final piece of art to send to the sculptor. You would be compensated, of course.
