Playing Conan really should not be too hard. Arnold didn't even speak English and he did it.

Of course, if you are basing Conan on the original shorts all he has to do is steal shit, kills giant bats, and treat women like object. Hell, I can do that.

I did most of that when i lived in eagle river alaska. Who knew i was living the life of Conan!

Exactly...
I read the preliminary casting call sheet somewhere. Just reading what they were looking for is sickening to a Conan fan. It was obvious they had thrown out any REH influence other than the name and moved on to the Hollywood treatment.
