BASH! Ultimate Edition - Questions

Post by AslanC »

So I am really enjoying BASH as a read and making characters and can't wait to start up a campaign later this month.

Now I have questions so I thought since there are a couple of BASHers here, maybe you would have the answers I seek.

- When a villain exceeds the campaign level, do the players get extra Hero Points or a Setback Points they can use when facing said villain?

Example: Say the heroes are in a lvl 40 game and a lvl 55 villain shows up, will the players get 15 HP as a pool they can use facing him, or 15 SB they can use to thwart him?

More to come and some some characters as well.

caught this on the other forum, I think, but I'll repost the answer here for anyone who was reading it here- Villains don't have to be "balanced" on point cost. A villain who can fight 4 heroes at once SHOULD have more points than the heroes!

Man, I am tempted to buy this book. I looked at it and it appeals to the kid in me that played a good many Tsr Marvel Superheroes campaigns back in the day. I think my seven year old daughter and 11 year old son would have a blast with this as well...

The pdf/print bundle looks too good to pass up.

This game ROCKS and replaced MSH/FASERIP as my go-to game of choice.

I hope that they will enjoy it (I originally designed BASH! to be a kids' game years ago). Fortunately, restock has just arrived before supplies ran out, so the Bundle is still going without a hitch!
