I would like to know what makes someone eligible for access to the CKG forum?

Thanks!

These are the rules of eligibility:

1) Some means to contact Steve (snailmail, email, phone, telepathy, etc)

2) Some means to receive a NDA (email or snailmailbox) [the NDA is a legal contract intended to keep discussion of the specific developments of the CKG from spreading publically, so that the whole is not "leaked"]

3) Willingness to sign, and ability to comply with, said NDA received

4) Signing NDA and returning it to Steve via means listed in 1 (excluding telepathy and phone becomes fax)

5) A TLG forum username and password so the CKG forum can be accessed

That should be it.

Some people had previously signed NDAs when the CKG forum was still active on the old TLG forums, but, as these are new, the process has to be started anew. Those who had already signed NDAs are "clear" to go, but they must inform Steve so that permissions via this board's setup can be granted to let them in. All such people need do is follow the first post's guides.

I choose the liberal choice you didn't mention. I say we ought to talk to them! Maybe we can come to an understanding and change their hearts and minds.

Ow! That's harsh! Though since Duke 4ever has a new teaser trailer now available, maybe we should get a preview of the CKG too.
According to Steve's blog, it is now a top priority. Don't know if there is an actual date yet, but they know people want it and they're working on it.

I love the Duke.

He's been a bit busy lately with a friend, but I'm sure the game will be released any day now:

Not a great looking pic dude. I went to the website in question, and got a MUCH better image:

Of course...the fanboys out there have already seen more of Lara than the developers intended.

You probably know this, but the 99 berserkers thing is from Tales of the Unknown: The Bard's Tale. There was no silly TALK feature, as monsters were there for killin'! I used to walk in to Harkyn's Castle and immediately APAR right to the berserkers then Fire Horn them with El Cids firehorn which I had multiples of for MASSIVE experience points

Thanks Traveller. I thought I had a good image on my computer but must have lost it. Thanks for finding that!!

And for their sake, I hope they get a lot of outside help on finding typos. I'd hate to see the CKG get criticized for typos after taking so long to be released.

No, the CKG needs to have some typos, or it will not be a TLG product. Style, after all, is everything.
