Sure, I have probably seen this material before, but I bet there are a few great ideas stuck in here! I'll find out when it arrives.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

It should, I am always looking for a fresh spin or new twist, and the last product like this they did had some good ones in it, so I am definitely hopeful.

It is for Pathfinder, but it is easy for C&Cers to use, just cut off what you don't like.

You know, I hate writing reviews. It is so hard to convey the coolness of a new product, or why it sucks. However, this time I feel different.
I think it started with looking at the picture on the cover of this product. There it is, the classic Vampire, with the maiden he has drank dry in his arms. His eyes malevolent and red with the fresh blood, so fresh that his teeth and lips are still red with it. He is a messy eater, because he has trails of blood going down below his chin to both sides of his mouth, and his victim has even more wasted blood spilled around her wound. I look at his clawed fingers grasping his victims, and I drink it all in. The epitome of evil, innocence destroyed by such malevolence.
I thought to myself, "Man! I hope the material inside conveys the evil of the creatures covered as well as this picture represents evil itself."
I then turned to the Introduction. Do not skip it. It sets the mood very well, despite some word usage that still confuses me. Heck, I think maybe the word usage is intentional, to subtly show the damage done to the writers mind.
Then I start to read the first creature covered by this book. I was hooked!
So rather than go on and on about how wonderfully evil the inspiration I found in this book was I will use my freedom as a reviewer and "Fair Use" laws to give you a taste as well, and see if it hooks you like it did me.
This is from the opening of the Chapter Covering Derro:
" It is something of an irony that civilization, a result of
a societys reaction to the perils and dangers of living
in the wild, brings with it new dangers of its own. The
concentration of life in such relatively small locations as one
finds in the worlds towns and cities magnifies many perils
present to a lesser degree in lower populations. A single fire
that might burn down a house in the rural parts of the world
can spread and wipe out an entire district. A sickness that
could devastate a family of farmers on a frontier can lance
through a tightly packed population with frightening speed.
A deadly predator that picks as its hunting grounds an acre
of land will find much more to sate its appetite in a citys
slum ward than it would along a lonely moor road. And when
that predator is a master at hiding, stalking, and snatching
its prey, and has developed exacting methods of covering the
traces of its presence, a city becomes not a bulwark against
disaster but the very catalyst for despair.
Every city is haunted by missing soulscitizens who
simply vanish on the way home from a days work or while
out on a mundane errand. Some are lost forever. Others are
returned, alive or dead, their bodies and minds changed from
their experiences while abducted. And it seems that for every
missing person case that reaches a satisfying (if sometimes
tragic) conclusion, two more remain forever mysteries without
solutions. What then of societys morale should it be learned
that, in a horrifying preponderance, the causes of these
unexplained vanishings and abductions stem from the same
sinister source?"
-Pathfinder Chronicles: Classic Horrors Revised, page 7.
If that doesn't catch your interest I can only assume your sense of wonder and mystery is dead, snatched away from you in your sleep by one of the very monsters you no longer believe can exist.
