Druids Wall of Thorns and Woodland Stride

Post by LordSeurek »

One of my players asked the following. Just wondering what the masterminds on here think.....

When you have the time, read the spell Wall of Thorns and the Druid ability Woodland Stride. I'd be interested in your opinion as to whether a Druid can pass unharmed through her Wall of Thorns using Woodland Stride.

Woodland Stride seems to hint at no, but the Wall of Thorns spell suggests yes.

Thanks!

The druid ability is generic and applies against "all" situations, where "all" is not a special condition. The special condition is created by the spell which then ignores the limitation typically imposed. So, yes... a druid can walk through a wall of thorns provided the druid is 3rd level or greater.
