TROLL CON VIII LOCATION AND DATE CHANGED! MAKE PLANS NOW!!

Hey all,

Well as most of you know, we've been looking at expanding Troll Con for this year and we had set the location for the Hampton Inn again this year. Well Steve and I have decided that as fine as the Hampton is, it just wasn't going to allow us the ability to expand TC like we wanted to. So we have moved locations for this years event.
Troll Con VIII will be held at the Crowne Plaza Suites Hotel in West Little Rock, July 23-25!

The move to the Crowne Plaza will give us over 3 times the space that we had last year at the Hampton Inn, and will allow to bring in more events, vendors, and guests then last year. We will have hotel reservation shortly for those looking to book a room and pre-registration is now open. Cost is as follows:

Pre-registration is $20 for a 3 day pass!

3 day pass at the door is $30

Single day passes are available for $10

You can pre-register for TC by calling our offices, 501-680-6597. We will have online pre-registration up shortly. We look forward to seeing everyone at Troll Con this year as this will be our biggest year yet.

Hey all,

I just wanted to drop in and update everyone with Hotel reservation information.

To reserve a room with a block rate of $94 a night at the Crowne Plaza, simply call the hotel directly at 501-223-3000. Make sure to tell them you are with "Troll Con Games" to get the Con rate!

Do you know if a deposit (full or partial) is required at time of reservation? I would be using a debit card to hold the room, so it would affect my signing up time.

What time does the gaming begin on July 23 and what time does it end on the 25th (at least officially, understanding that there might be informal gaming)?

The TC schedule times are as follows:

Friday the 23rd, 1pm - 12am

Saturday the 24th, 10am - 12am

Sunday the 25th, 10am - 4pm

Tournament times will vary depending on their organizers, but will fall somewhere in between the operational times of the Convention itself.

There is a strong possibility that I will be attending TC this year. The Mrs gave me the green light and I've already started to check on getting out to Little Rock. Just need to lock down a few things and then it will either be on or not.

Well, it looks like Liz and I will have to try and attend now. Too many cool people attending...some of whom we haven't met before (other than online)..! That and a gaming-starved friend of our from Hot Springs siad she wanted to go but only if we were there. Its our moral duty!
