I do wonder why they need two books totaling, between them, near 700 pages for this though. It certainly isn't because of the FATE system the RPG is using.

There is a heck of a lot of background information and pleanty of examples for how FATE can be used to play DF. Mostly, they're pretty wordy. I'd like to see this thinned out to a "just the essentials" book for folks who don't want so much to plow through. It's a great read, but I think the sheer volume will turn some gamers away.
