Monthly game

My group just had our monthly C&C game. I'm running the Umbrage Saga and we added two new players tonight (they've been playing RPGs with me for almost 30 year... but they've never played C&C).

The session went great... with the C&C newbies having a blast. They loved how the battles went smoothly because of the elegance of the game (no more 3.5 bloat... what feats do I have... what are my skills... blah blah blah). So we have two new converts (it helped that I bought them each a player's handbook a month ago so they could read up on it). The group finished off Kruggle's Lair tonight and barely made it out alive... but it was a blast.

I only got to play once a month since October. But the work schedule is changing (again) so that for the next few months we will get two weekends off a month.

Now if only I can get the group together more then once a month I could take full advantage of this
