Indeed. There are a few newer things that I would like to get but alas those are not discounted.

Ha. There are still some things that I don't own, so I hope to take advantage of the sale.

Tempting to buy some stuff to give to the players in the group... I'll have to see whether I'm allowed to splurge on anything or not.

A couple of questions:

1. Which version of the M&T 4th printing has the shark stats? (I know one was missing it): The softbound or the hardback?
SOFTBOUND

2. Does the PH/M&T flipbook have the shark stats?
YES

Ha, Frost needs his shark stats!

p.s. Spreading the word on my blog. This sale really is the "get off the fence and try C&C" sale to me.

EDIT: Added answers

More questions:

1. Does the flip book include color plates?

2. Does the perfect bound version of the M&T have color plates?

EDIT: the perfect bound version of M&T does NOT have the color plates. I mistakenly assumed so. I'm kicking myself for not clarifying that with TLG before I placed my order. Ah well, the M&T 3rd printing is still very nice.

1.) No

2.) Unsure. The perfect bound copies that came out around GenCon (as well as the the actual GenCon copies) did have the color plates in them. I wonder if these are from the same printing.

I just called in a big order. Had a few things I was missing and grabbed spare copies of a few things I already had as well.

I love me some sales.

I've got a question.

I notice that plenty of items aren't listed on the sale sheet, which I assume simply means they're not part of the sale. So if that's the case, why are there several items included on the sheet that are still listed at full price?

Also, can anyone tell me if the Gods & Monsters book is the same printing as was sold at last year's TrollCon? Don't wanna buy something I've already got.

Oh, I also noticed that Crusader #1 is listed on the sale sheet. I'm gonna guess that's just in error, but hey, if they're doing reprints now, someone please say so, cuz I'd jump on it.

I noticed those too. They seem to be for newer products, so I think TLG is just trying to pimp those a bit more. They likely attract a lot of people during this sale that aren't aware of latest releases (i.e., vultures like me ).

Did I simply miss the Crusader Compilations or are they not on the list? I remember them from the 12 Days of Trollmas Sale and wanted to get some.

Crusader #1 is a reprint. Picked that up a few months ago.

Hoo yeah! Order in. Looking to get a little campaign action started, hopefully using the Heart of Glass (awesome mini-setting/module), with the Umbrage Saga. That's a lot of Aihrde goodness for not a lot of money.

$5.00 Heart of Glass

$19.99 Umbrage Saga

$10.00 After Winter's Dark setting folio

So for under $35 bucks, I can get a campaign started with enough material for a long damn time of play. Not sure how I'm going to work Heart of Glass in with Umbrage yet. Probably just run through some of the Sea Towns of Ihlsa, then on to Umbrage, and than back again to the Heart of Glass areas.

Yeah, some good deals indeed for the sale. I grabbed Heart of Glass as well, some Tainted Lands (I had been holding off on that) and I always use the $10 sale to get an extra copy of the PHB and M&T. Grabbed some other things I didn't need, but I'm a junkie

I am interested too. Anyone know if this compilation is simply a reprinting of the issues within, or if they rearranged the articles and such so the related articles are all together?

Also, is it true Jim Ward is no longer working on Crusader?

Tree, they are a reprinting of them in sequence. As to the latter, I've just heard via the youtube stuff that the mag is on hold. That would mean Jim's not working on it. However, if you are asking has he really STOPPED working on the mag, I haven't heard anything to that effect.

Kurgen,

To answer your first question. I include items not on the sale because people often put in orders for them at reduced prices. I don't think this is malicious, just people don't look too closely at the sales sheet.

Gods is the same printing.

That Crusader 1 was not supposed to be on the list. But I didn't catch it in time. So its on the list. It is the reprint however.

Thanks!

Steve
