Punj & firearms?
Punj & firearms?
Hey all,
I was reading the section on Punj in the Codex and though there is nothing that directly states it in the text. Does Punj use firearms? I find it interesting they have 2 cannon in their heraldry.

If not, I plan on converting alot of the material on firearms from the "Iron Kingdoms" D20 campaign setting . Great stuff.

I believe they will be redone for C&C. I seem to recall it being stated in a post. But my memory is definitely faulty.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Thanx, been going nuts over this stuff. This month alone I've managed to get a 1st and 2nd print PHB, M&T, Character Sheets, The Codex & The Mortality of Green. For some reason I'm really drawn to the Darkenfold & surrounding area. I dunno if any of you guys use the Fantasy Grounds software, but its my primary vehicle for RP'ing these days, but I do alot of development of rulesets for it. So I'm looking at creating some C&C material for it. Like alot of you guys I started playing with the ol red box sets back in the 80's and I'm not a very big fan of TETSNBN, which basically boils down to C&C being a godsend. Not to mention Airdhe is absolutely fantastic!!
Well, you definitely sound like a perfect fit for this community. Keep us in the loop, and welcome to the boards and the Crusade!

Glad to hear it. I love the World of Erde. And so much so, that I've tried to buy as many of the old modules as I can, in addition to all the new "A" series ones.
And having the Codex of Erde really helps one appreciate the modules. And it turn, the modules induce one to research more material and lore out of the Codex!

Hallo Gribble and welcome to the boards and the Crusade!
In answer to your question, firearms will definately be added to the revised Aihrde. I love the idea of these weapons in the setting (though many don't) for when they are used sparingly they can really add all manner of atmosphere to the table!
But the Punj is one of the few places that they are found, elsewhere they are pretty uncommon!
