Something to look at

Post by Go0gleplex »

I stumbled across this site looking around for the World Builder book (other than Amazon's $100 each). It also has some other cool things, such as the colossal dragons for a song and dance...worth the look. They have other things on the site not shown on this page also...

It'd be nice if almost every thing I looked at wasn't sold out.

I never cared for any of the icons miniatures. They are too angular and disproportionate. If the big red dragon were in a different pose he'd look like an evil version of Clifford the Big Red Dog. It does not physically match the Red Dragon from the Monster Manual save for the general shape of the head. The Black Dragon look like it has upside-down wings.

That is a good deal for the 3.5 PHB. I sold mine on eBay for about $65 or so. They routinely sell for double cover price on eBay.

I used to have about 5 gallons or so of DDM's. I ended up getting more than I paid for them when they were sold. There is something to be said about the convenience of having cheap PVC monsters of great variety. Once my wife starting painting, however, I am all into painting our own now.

Hmmm...seems the site stuff doesn't match their inventory. They are sold out on more than just what's indicated, darn it. At least they were prompt with their notification.

Bunch of plastic miniatures, pre-painted. If they were just plastic, I might like them more... I have several of those type, like the stuff that came with Warhammer Quest. It's just when its pre-painted... ugh.

I have scores of plastic miniatures. I have at least four complete sets of HeroQuest, plus the expansions, plus Advanced HeroQuest, plus Warhammer Quest, Dark World, Space Crusade, Space Hulk, New Space Hulk, Descent, about 100 or so Gundams from a Japanese Tabletop Gundam War Game, and probably many more. I also have about 200 Homies that I won in an auction at a gamestore for a few bucks.

I'm just waiting for some flat rate boxes and envelopes to show up and then I'm selling a bunch of stuff on eBay, including the world builder book. I'll post something once I get everything listed.
