Gen Con is the 5th to the 8th, so your "Troll Con East" is 6 days after Gen Con.

If you do Troll Con West, Vegas can work for me, but you may want to look in to Phoenix as well. Most people seem to go to Vegas to get drunk, sex, gambling, gambling drunk, sex while drunk, etc...

So Phoenix may allow people to actually focus on gaming.

The CKG WILL be at Troll Con? Yeeeahh, rrrriiiiight! I'll believe that when I see it.

There are a lot of cons in Vegas because there is tons to do, Vegas is in many people's 'to do' list and there are cheap flights to Vegas from almost anywhere. I'd say the likely hood of someone deciding to go that week for Trollcon would go up if it was in Las Vagas.

IMO and all that.

Now if the Trolls would coincide Troll Con with the DJ convention in Las Vegas I'd certainly be there.

You can't pay me enough to go to Vegas. Reno wouldn't be bad though.

But like Tree said...too many "other" distractions and too easy to get lost in all the insanity.

Oh, I am aware of Vegas, I have spent over a month there, total, at my resort site I have there. Plus I have a buddy who has lived there for about two years now, who I visit with every time I go there.

I don't disagree that there are advantages to Vegas, but there are certainly disadvantages.

I liked the fact TLG does video updates but the sound quality is just so gawd awful I only listen to about 60 seconds of it before I shut it off.

Seriously buy a better microphone.

We talked about this last week (Steve and I) and I think he may be going the condenser mic route, which would up the sound quality by orders of magnitude. Steve is aware of the problem at least, as he is the one who brought it up.

I can highly recommend this. AT2020 - USB I use it for online chat or recording creepy stuff for my survival horror games.

I think you can buy it for about 100 bucks, but it's the only mic you'll ever need.

Yeah, but its still a 4 hour drive for me. Vegas is about 8 hours.
