My list of alchemical items

While putting together the Alchemist class for my new Legio campaign, I created this list of concoctions that they can make. In a low-magic campaign, they serve as a stand-in for magic spells.

They are also useful items to place around the dungeon as they can't be purchased. It's been fun coming up with new descriptions of what they look, smell, feel and taste like including the kind of container they come in. PCs will have to experiment to learn the effects.

For what it's worth...

0 -LEVEL (14)

1. Aphrodisiac (powder)-- Charmed by 1st person seen; Dur: 2d4 min +2/lvl

2. Faceblack (grease)-- +2 to hide checks

3. Fire Starter (paper)-- Fire-starting tinder source

4. Flammable (liquid)-- Dbl fire size; create flash of light

5. Food & Water Purifier (beads)-- Cubic foot per level

6. Glue (thick liquid)-- Will hold 1 inch matter fast for 2rds +1/lvl

7. Invisible Ink (liquid)-- Disappears in 1hr/lvl

8. Light Rod (stick)-- 30' radius; Dur: 10 min/lvl

9. Noisemaker (incense stick)-- Dur: 1d3 rds +1/lvl

10. Restorative (liquid)-- Removes exhaustion; +2 to endurance checks

11. Rogue's Oil (oil)-- Causes metallic items to appear more valuable than normal

12. Rust Remover (liquid)-- 1 inch rust/lvl

13. Sealant (resin)-- Makes containers watertight; Dur: 1d3 min +1/lvl

14. Soothing Salve (ointment)-- Resist 2 pts cold/fire dmg; Dur: 1d3 rds +1/lvl

1ST-LEVEL (12)

1. Acid-Filled Bullet (liquid)-- Dmg: 1d2 +1/lvl

2. Alkali Salt (crystals)-- Resist 2 pts acid dmg; Dur: 1rd./lvl; Dmg: 1d6 (ooze)

3. Armor Oil (oil)-- +2 bonus to AC; 1 min/lvl

4. Erasure Liquid (liquid)-- Removes magical/mundane writing; runes req. INT check

5. Fire Spray (liquid)-- 5' flammable stream; Dmg: 1d2 +1/lvl

6. Flesh-Eating Acid (liquid)-- 1 cubic inch organic matter for 2 rds +1/lvl

7. Grease (grease)-- Causes 5' square or object to be slippery; DEX save to avoid falling/dropping object; Dur: 1min/lvl

8. Insect Repellant (powder)-- repels vermin in 10' radius; Dur: 1min/lvl

9. Musk (liquid)-- Affects 5' radius; easy-to-follow odor; Dur: 1min/lvl

10. Obscuring Powder (powder)-- Causes concealment in 25'x20'x10'; Dur: 1 min/lvl

11. Rat Repellant (powder)-- repels small mammals in 10' radius; Dur: 1min/lvl

12. Sneezing Powder (powder)-- Affects 10' radius; -1 to attacks, AC; Dur: 1 rd/lvl

2ND-LEVEL (10)

1. Acid-Tipped Dart (liquid)-- Rng: 20'; Dmg: 1d3 +1/lvl

2. Blood Powder (powder)-- attracts carnivores; Dur: 1d3 min +1/lvl

3. Climber's Glue (viscous liquid)-- Move speed on vertical/horizontal surfaces for 1d3 +1rd/lvl

4. Flammable Bolt (coating)-- Rng: 80'; Dmg: 1d6 +1/lvl; Dur: 1d3 rds

5. Glitterdust (powder)-- outlines invisible creatures 10' radius; Dur: 1d3 rds +1/lvl

6. Healing Poultice (soft adhesive)-- Cures 1hp (8hrs rest)

7. Metal-Eating Acid (liquid)-- cubic inch for 3 rds +1/lvl

8. Pyrotechnics (liquid)-- Fire source blinds all in 100' radius (DEX save) or smoke cloud 20' radius for 1d3 rds +1/lvl

9. Sleeping Powder (powder)-- Causes 1d3HD +1/lvl creatures to sleep in 20' radius; Dur: 2d4rds +1/lvl

10. Smoke Bomb (powder)-- Creates smoke in 50'x20'x20'; Dur: 1d3 min +1/lvl

3RD-LEVEL (10)

1. Acid-Tipped Bolt (liquid)-- Rng: 80'; Dmg: 1d6 +1/lvl; Dur: 1d3+1 rds

2. Antitoxin (liquid)-- Protects from poison; Dur: 1hr/lvl

3. Fire Bomb (liquid)-- Dmg: 1d8 +1/lvl; Splash: 1d3 +1/lvl; Dur: 1d3 rds

4. Protective Balm (oily ointment)-- Resist 12 pts cold/fire dmg; Dur: 10 min/lvl

5. Rock-Eating Acid (liquid)-- cubic inch for 9 rds +1/lvl

6. Nauseous Gas Bomb (vapors)-- Gas fills 20' cube; Dmg: 1d4 +1/lvl (CON save); Dur: 2d4 rds +1/lvl

7. Scent Neutralizer (jelly)-- Makes tracking by smell difficult; can be used to mask stench; Dur 2d4 rds +1/lvl

8. Solvent (liquid)-- Removes sq. ft. of adhesive/lvl

9. Sticky Bomb (viscous liquid)-- Creates adhesive in 20'x10'x10'; DEX save or entangled; Dur: 2d4rds +1/lvl; flammable

10. Thunder Bomb (vapor)-- Affects 20' radius; Dmg: 1d4 +1/lvl; deafens (CON save); stuns (WIS save)

I haven't had a chance to read everything here, but at first glance you have some good stuff here. Especially in a low magic world like I tend to use.
