Tainted Land Reviews?

So, does any one play this? How is it?

It kind of sounds like Ravenloft, which would be epic!

When I reviewed this (as I do for other items), I tried to remain unbiased and neither overly positive or negative. Personally speaking, I think some of the fluff is great for inspiration but I would have liked to see more of it. The various mechanics and crunch-related stuff is interesting but not to the point where I would have a desire to run it 'as-is'.

That said, there is definite potential in the box set and, if you order it direct, it is currently on sale for only $10. At that price it is a fantastic deal and more than makes up for some of the perceived short comings of the set that some people have had.
