Need Suggestion: 3 players, 3 hours, Quick Prep
Tonight I think our 4e game will run short, and if they let me, I'll run a C&C module. I have about 3 hours to prepare. They'd need to do chargen, though I can turn out a few characters before they arrive, but they might not choose them.
I have a lot of C&C modules, and if I can buy any as PDF quickly, I'd consider them too. 2 of the players have played Rising Knight, and they are part of a group going on to Assault on BTR, so I'd rather not do that one tonight. Looking for something 1 or 2 sessions long.
So far I am considering:
Ruins of Ramat (Seems straightforward, simple crawl, low levels,)
Mysterious Tower (Looks like a good old school crawl, but likely fatal to 3 players)
Trick on the Tain (Again pretty short, less mappy though, sequential)
Shadows of the Halfling Hall (More story to absorb and retain before game time though)
Dwarven Glory D0: This is for higher levels though, and the Feliul Stone looks like a party killer.
I've sort of discounted DB1 and I1 because they are longer and DB1 is more in the style of A1; lots of smaller encounters, more of a setting, which I like, but don't want to deal with tonight.
I also have all of the Crusaders and could run one from there.

2/3's have already done Rising there BD.
I'd go with Ruins of Ramat Aer. As you said, it's a very straight forward dungeon crawl for low levels that should be about perfect for what you're looking to do, though you may have to alter the final encounter down a notch to avoid a TPK (totally optional of course)

Ruins of Ramat is great for a quickie.
If they like that, I recommend the Secret of Ronan skerry also.
Trick on the Tain I'd save for a longer game session, to fully savor it.
Most of the others on your list I'm not as familiar with, to be fair. If you have the beacon of Enon Tor (something like that) it's a good one off, but I"m not sure it's a C&C module.
I wouldn't sweat it, just have fun!
Good luck!

Becon at Enon Tor has been converted to C&C, but it's boring as hell.
Unless your players decide to try eating zombie brains. But unless your players are 12, you'll probably not see that...
Either Ronan Skerry or Ruins of Ramat are good choices.
There was also a module posted on the old open forum by a member some months back that starts out in a brewery in a fishing village, which was very well done (and free!) But I'm having trouble remembering who posted it or the title of the piece.

That's it. I think BHP modules may fit in your time limit more easily, but I haven't read through the Eel's Head in a bit so may be mis-remembering.

We finished our 4e game (H2), and had our "What will we play next" discussion, and didn't get anywhere on it, so played Carcassonne instead.
The group as a whole doesn't look ready to adopt C&C, unfortunately.
